Meaning of the russian word "Collective" = 1. people working together 2. people taking together a (little) drink in "hard" times This song is about a hard life of a simple man, working hard but having no money and feeling like a hero. Every time comming home he feels like beeing able to save the world. But there is only a one problem: a wife who is always pressing for money. He is confused and disappointed - when he will be finally accepted as a hero?! But it is a positive song so (quotation) "all your troubles can be solved by a trusty collective".
