Her coach said that she did not teach Midori how to jump as Midori was able to jump from the Day One. She basically helped Midori to improve jumps. One of the things the coach told Midori was to start rotating after she went high in the air. The coach believed that it would stabilize the jumps. In any case, most female skaters can not complete the rotation if they rotate slowly like Midori.
